It is the oldest annual festival in the world. Today, Pinkpop is a 3-day event, which is held from Friday to Sunday, has three separate stages and is visited by about 60 000 people per day. After 35 years, 1.5 million people visited the Pinkpop.
More than 500 musical artists have played at the festival. This year’s fest is ideal for a company of students who have come overseas in search of new experiences. I can assure you that the Pinkpop won’t leave you indifferent.
This year, event will be held from 10th to 12th of June. The main star of the festival will be Paul McCartney; details of the ex-Beatle program is a secret, however, there are no doubts that the show will be memorable and outstanding. Other headliners are Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rammstein. In addition, bands like Bastille, Bring Me the Horizon, Nothing but Thieves, Tom Odell and others will be present.

OPEN'ER FESTIVAL
Polish Open'er, which will take place from June 29th until July 2nd, is much less costly. The line-up will not disappoint lovers of art, the event is taking place at the former airfield near the city of Gdynia and visitors will enjoy performing from Florence & the Machine, psychedelic rock Australians Tame Impala, the ubiquitous Red Hot Chili Peppers, the British Bastille and the French M83.VOLT FESTIVAL
Volt is taking place in the city of Sopron from 29th of June until 2nd of July, which is almost on the Austrian border, and it precedes the main Hungarian festival - Sziget. Although the Volt is not as famous as Sziget, but in terms of popularity it already starts catching up with its colleague from the capital. Mostly because it has potential.
